Volunteer Organisers' Forum

The Volunteer Organisers' Forum is used to promote and share best practice for those managing or co-ordinating volunteers.  We meet quarterly to discuss a variety of issues relevant to volunteering such as volunteer recruitment, employability, DBS checks, volunteer retention, thank you events, welfare reform impacts, volunteers and the law amongst others.  Featuring speakers and mini workshops, this forum is also a great opportunity to network.

The next forum is on Thursday 26th January 2017, 1pm to 4pm - hosted by Southmead Development Trust.

Agenda includes:

  • Understanding autism - presentation and workshop on making volunteering autism-friendly led by Matthew Trerise, AWP NHS Bristol Autism Spectrum Service
  • A vision for volunteering & community development in Southmead
  • Planning for Volunteers Week 2017

The VOF is a free event open to Voscur members only.  To book your place, please click here.
